Here is a link to the PlayStation State of Play Video. Fans won’t accept anything less but from what we were shown today I think we are in for a hell of a ride. As a writer I don’t envy the pressure on the team to deliver an amazing story. From what I have seen so far The Last of Us part two is going to live up to all of our (very high) expectations. The story feels as engaging as the first and having both Joel and Ellie together again is fantastic and has eased at least one of my fears for the sequel. Visually stunning with the world looking just as broken even though a few years has passed. Gameplay seems true to the original and so do the ‘infected’. Joel comes in and very calmly states ‘You think I’d let you do this on your own?’ The look he gives her in that moment just grips you in all the feels.
The trailer hints to Ellie’s bestfriend/girlfriend Dina being murdered and Ellie out for revenge on those responsible. The sneak peek we were shown today during Playstation’s State of Play was just awesome. I wish I could play it for the first time all over again.

It has been widely accepted as one of the best games ever made and is one of the most awarded games of all time. Like most TLOU fans we have been waiting for this news for so very long. The Last of Us was released back in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and was later remastered for PlayStation 4. Finally….a release date for The Last of Us Part Two.
